Home was built with 2x6 walls with exterior Styrofoam for an R value of 22.75 and ceiling insulation was installed to an R-38 level. A radiant barrier was installed under the roof. All interior paints and sealers were no/low VOC. Flooring surfaces were tile, stone, or wood throughout the home. Low E casement and awning windows were installed for energy efficiency – well before these became code.
